Our View ot to glorify Hinduism at the cost of other religions, but to present the richness and diversity of thought contained in this religion which kept it alive and vibrant since mums. We believe in the equality of all religions and in the freedom of every individual to choose what suits best for his or her own salvation. We believe that the primary purpose of religion is to ennoble man, to make him realize the true purpose of his life and create universal harmony, understanding and brotherhood among people. If religions create discord and disharmony amongst us, then there is something seriously wrong in our understanding and approach towards such religions. Small Indroduction The presiding Lord Madhusudhana, Lord Vishnu appears in the form of Madhusudhana with four hands. While, two hands hold the disc and conch, the other right hand is held aloft in abaya hastha position and the left rests on the left thigh. He is seen with Goddesses Lakshmidevi and Bhoomadevi. A sculptor who was an ardent devotee of the Lord etched an image of Garuda in wood while in Kanchipuram and the bird came to life and flew Southwards. After arriving at the Parakkai village, Garuda, it is said, had a dip in the tank in front of the temple ,hovered around the deity making a pradakshana and began to fly away. An artisan, who was renovating a pillar at the temple, saw the bird and hurled a chisel at it. The bird fell down crying `Madhusudhana', much to the shock and disbelief of the man. As a result its right wing suffered a wound. A stone image was later carved at the spot where he fell.

According to South Indian legend, in Kanchipuram an ardent devotee of Lord Vishnu, who was a sculptor, carved a Garuda image out of wood. Having been correctly carved according to the Shilpa Shastras, the figure came to life. It flew into the air, heading towards the south. At the village of Parakkai, the Garuda took a dip in the tank in front of the temple there, exclaiming with delight. Then he rose again and hovered around the temple deity as if doing pradakshina (Tib. kora, devotional circling.) An artisan working on a pillar at the temple saw the bird and for some reason, hurled his chisel at it hurting its right wing. The bird fell to earth crying, "Madhusudhana," to the man's disbelief. The famous 4-armed stone image of Vishnu was later carved and installed on that spot.

Respected devotee THIS IS THE MASSAGE TO THOSE HOW R INTEREST TO TAKE ANY ONE FUNCTION OM NAMO MATHUSOOTHANAYA BY THE BENEDICTION OF LORD MATHUSOOTHONA IT IS PROPOSED TO CONDUCT THE “PANGUNI UTSAV”IN AN AUSPICIOUS AND GRAND MANNER . THE RULES AND REGULATIONS ARE LAID DOWN FOR THE SAME AS FOLLOWS 1. The regular schedule of Programmes and the changes made there in will strictly be under the supervision of Devasam authorities.
2. Each and every programme will be conducted as per the rules laid down by the committee constituted ( Festival Committee & Seva sangam ) under the guidance of Devasam board.
3.We solicit the whole hearted patronage of sponsors and their associates for the fair conduct of festivals.
4. As the contributions obtained from sponsors only on approximate estimates, sponsors are requested to remit the dues to the authorities concerned voluntarily, incase of hike in the estimate.
5. Every programme will be conducted strictly adhering schedule . Hence we expect your punctual presence. Delays on unprecedented occurence should be forbidden. 6. Either yourself or your associates desirous in performing any special pooja or contribute any special programme , kindly inform the committee / Sevasangam well in advance . It will be considered only on feasibility . The sponsors are further requested to remit their contributions well in advance to the committee enabling to pursue further.
7. Unprecedented problems araised on inevitable circumstances should duly be reported to the committee or Seva sangam. Promoting the nuisance or any other obstructions will never be entertained.
8. Kindly aware of each & every programmes related to festivals and render your valuable suggestions for the fair conduct.
9.Sponsors are kindly requested either to be present themselves in the festivals sponsored by them or depute any representative on behalf.
10. The sponsors must well aware of the resolutions passed on by the festival committee & seva sangam .Incase of any doubt the same may be clarified with the forum.
11.If any untoward incidents reported during festivals, the same should duly be brought to the notice of the Committee or Seva sangam enabling to redress the same. 12.Individual /joint sporsorship of festivals /special poojas of any devotees are entertained. Meanwhile We anticipate your co-operation, if any devotee will express his desire to co-sponsor the same pooja/festival in future. 13) Any VVIP Visit should be intimated to the committee or sevaa sangh well in advance. The sponsorship for the conduct of instant pooja or programmes should also be discussed with the committee & Seva sangh well in advance
14, No relaxation would be allowed to violate the temple tradition, Sanity and ethics in the pretext of Fashion
15) Please enquire with committee or seva sangh, if you have any doubt on the Fee collected by priest .You may approach the forum to reveal any common suggestion and the direct approach to priest / Nampoodri is strictly Prohibited.
16) Sudden change in regular schedule of programs are not entertained in any circumstances. Programmes imparting moral Values/morals through Folk art will be enlisted in schedule.
17) The unfair activities / Occurrence Created by any miscreants would legally be suppressed and Stringent measures would be initiated against them, with the able support the Police Dept..
